A Russian editor who protested Moscow's war in Ukraine during a prime-time state TV news broadcast was in court Tuesday, facing 10 days in jail. While Marina Ovsyannikova’s lawyer had said she could face up to 15 years for the demonstration, French President Emmanuel Macron offered asylum or consular protection to the journalist, saying he would discuss her case with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
