Royal Mail Plans Job Cuts, Threatens More if Strikes Over Pay Go On

The Communications Workers' Union began strike action in August after the Royal Mail imposed a two per cent rise. The firm offered another 1.5 per cent if staff "sign away their terms and conditions", the union said, adding that a £500 bonus offered in 2023 was based on "unachievable" targets.
