Recognition of 'European Enslavement of Africans' Should Go Beyond Rhetoric, Experts Say

Over the period from the 16th to 19th centuries, the world saw one of the darkest chapters in its history, during which millions of enslaved Africans were transported across the Atlantic Ocean to the Americas. Today, on March 25, the world commemorates and honors the victims of slavery and the transatlantic slave trade.
