VLADIMIR Putin is said to be suffering from dizziness and headaches as he battles advancing Parkinson’s, a so-called Kremlin insider has claimed. According to the report, the 70-year-old Russian tyrant has increasingly resorted to the use of “body doubles” at public events as his health worsens. The latest allegation about his health comes from Russian Telegram channel General SVR – which claims to be fed information by a Kremlin insider. The channel bases its claim about the fall on having sources in Putin’s entourage without offering more proof. According to the channel, Putin has been experiencing spells of dizziness and frequent headaches. It also claimed Putin’s cancer is “slowly progressing” – affecting his performance and “calling into question his ability to participate in large events”. The channel claimed the tyrant’s doctors will meet next week to discuss treatment for his Parkinson’s diagnosis. The so-called Kremlin insider suggested his ill health sparked the cancellation of a number of meetings and speeches in the last week. Putin cancelled his second official visit in a week on Wednesday – fuelling new speculation over his poor health. He abandoned a visit to Pskov, a city close to Russia’s borders with NATO nations Latvia and Estonia. And he suddenly pulled out a visit to tank plant last week – only for one of the generals who worked there to mysteriously die on Christmas Day. Officially the reason for him axing the visit to Pskov was “unfavourable flying conditions” for the 180 mile routing from St Petersburg. Yet both airports remained open to incoming and departing flights – and pictures of Pskov show totally clear skies. Putin has also cancelled his end of year press conference, his address to Russia’s parliament, and his New Year hockey game. The flurry of abrupt cancellations are fuelling speculation over his health. Putin’s condition has been subject of ongoing speculation – with him appearing twitchy, unsteady on his feet, and out of breath on occasion. It has been suggested he could be suffering from stomach cancer – or maybe even Parkinson’s. Vlad was seen clutching a thick blanket earlier this year while watching a parade, and last week was seen swaying and slurring as he spoke with a glass of champagne. He was also pictured with suspected track marks from IV treatment on the back of his hand – amid rumours he’s suffering from cancer and crippling pain. Putin’s last minute cancellations could also be down to him attempting to dodge questions over his disastrous war from an increasingly frustrated public in Russia.
