Five Indian states, including Uttar Pradesh and Punjab, are scheduled to undergo polls from 10 February onward. The results will be announced on 10 March. Currently, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is ruling in four states -- Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur, and the Congress party rules Punjab.
