The outlet adds the woman, the cameraman and another known associate at the scene did not have local permission. The trio were later reprimanded for “obscene acts in a public place” and were also warned against sharing the photographs on social media. Unsurprisingly, the risque incident sparked outrage from conservative Italians who blasted the woman for her “scandalous” photoshoot at the religious site.
