Nigeria's Ruling Party Keeps Senate, Governorship Majorities, Election Outcome Shows

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has already clinched the majority among state governors and in the upper chamber of the national parliament in the latest elections. Occupying 162 out of 360 seats, the party has prospects to obtain the majority in the lower chamber, since the last 35 seats have yet to be declared.
