Mystery as decomposing bodies of two sisters, 23 & 24, found in flat after eerie clue leads to ‘suspicious’ deaths

THE decomposed bodies of two sisters have been discovered inside a Sydney flat after concerns were raised for their welfare. The remains of the two victims, thought to be in their mid-20s, were found in an apartment block in Canterbury, Australia in the early hours of Tuesday morning. When police arrived, they discovered the two women, who are believed to be sisters, in a “somewhat decomposed” state. Detectives confirmed that both women were found in separate bedrooms and had been there for “some time.” Neither victim has yet to be formally identified. Police are said to be scouring CCTV footage for leads as forensics concluded that the apartment showed no signs of forced entry. Early examinations of the bodies also found no signs of injury. They have since appealed for information from the public for information regarding the mystery deaths. A NSW Police statement read: “Detectives have commenced an investigation after the bodies of two women were located inside a unit in Sydney’s south west today. “About 9.30am (Tuesday 7 June 2022), emergency services were called to a home on Canterbury Road, near Dibbs Street, Canterbury, following a concern for welfare report. “Upon arrival, officers from Burwood Police Area Command entered the unit and located the bodies of two women inside.
