Matthew McConaughey Manoeuvres Between Second Amendment and Gun Control in Op-Ed on Shootings

A recent spate of mass shootings - including in McConaughey's hometown of Uvalde which claimed the lives of 19 children and two adults - prompted public uproar in the US and reignited demands to impose stricter gun controls. The latter are opposed by the NRA, GOP, many conservative-minded US citizens and gun enthusiasts.
