A MAN has been found dead after he was swallowed by a massive sinkhole inside a swimming pool in front of horrified partygoers. The man’s body was found at the end of a 15-metre tunnel after a complex four-hour rescue operation, according to reports. Emergency services had to put up a structure to stop the surface of the pool sinking any further and collapsing on them as they searched for the missing man. A 34-year-old man was also dragged under by the sinkhole – but he managed to climb out and escape. He reportedly suffered minor wounds to his lower body and was treated at the scene by paramedics. She said there were only six people in the pool at the time. As the sinkhole opened, she desperately yelled at her colleagues to get out of the pool – but they initially thought it was some sort of game. “Seconds later, the ground just dropped… I watched two people just disappear,” she said.
