Local Electoral Commissions: Referenda in Kherson, Zaporozhye, DPR & LPR Recognized as Valid

The referendum on joining Russia started simultaneously on September 23 in the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, as well as in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Voting lasted five days, until 27 September. Russian President Vladimir Putin said last week that Russia would support the decision made by the residents.
