Israel Tormented by Lack of Medical Staff and Equipment as Omicron Variant Hits Record Numbers

According to reports, thousands of doctors and nurses are either in isolation or are sick with the coronavirus and other respiratory diseases. The Israel Association of Hospital Directors has been requesting that the government allocate more people and equipment to cope with the rising challenge but their demands have largely fallen on deaf ears.
