India Saved $4.4 Billion Through Discounted Russian Oil Purchases: Report

Since Russia began its special military operation in Ukraine, the Eurasian country has become India's third-largest crude supplier after Iraq and Saudi Arabia. Russian oil contributed as much as 18 percent to India's total purchases in August, a massive jump from well below 0.5 percent in April this year.
