She was stunned when she found out she had bagged herself a flash motor and all associated on-road costs. The company flew Amelia and her sister to Queensland to pick the car up, and they then drove the 1,600km back to Victoria. But she was left horrified when she was told the motor was still under finance when she tried to transfer it to her name. On February 1, it was repossessed without warning. She wrote on Facebook: “Randomly, without me knowing anything, at 8pm a guy showed up to repossess the car.” Amelia frantically tried to make contact with Hello Lifestyle Australia, but her efforts when unanswered. She added: “So the Patrol is gone and I am trying to gather information through other people that have won anything through Hello Lifestyle Australia to take it a lot further.” Amelia said she has been left “heartbroken” and almost £600 out of pocket for on-road costs. Cops are now investigating the incident. Amelia said: “It’s not fair on myself or anyone else that has won anything through this company, it’s just heartbreaking.” Hello Lifestyle Australia said it was “proudly supporting” the Christian youth charity Red Frogs through regular giveaways of huge prizes, reports news.com.au. Red Frogs’ chief operational officer Steven Davies has claimed the company had not fulfilled its promise to donate £90,000. He told ABC: “They did pay us a small amount on that [first] raffle but that was all we ever got off them. “They did subsequent raffles and we never got anything.” Hello Lifestyle Asutralia’s social media accounts and website appear to have been closed.
