They were never married but referred to each other as husband and wife. He has since dumped her and lives in Turks and Caicos with their five-year-old twins. Hartin is now staying in a shack in the highlands of Belize. She says she fears for her life due to police corruption and the Ashcroft family’s influence in the country.
