A MUM has issued a heartbreaking warning after her daughter was left brain damaged following a motorbike crash. University researcher Dilara Aldanoglu, 24, has been left fighting for her life after she lost half her head in a horrific accident. 24-year-old Dilara suffered severe head injuries in the crashCEN CENShe has spent the past five months fighting for her life[/caption] CENDilara was on her way home to surprise her family on New Year’s Eve[/caption] Dilara has spent the past five months on a respirator, in a hospital intensive care unit in Izmir, western Turkey. The 24-year-year old suffered serious head injuries after a car crashed into her motorbike as she was on her way to a surprise family visit on New Year’s Eve. The pillion passenger Dilara – who was not wearing a crash helmet – slammed into the car’s windscreen and suffered massive brain trauma and internal bleeding. It later emerged that the car driver, named as Isa E., 26, did not have a driver’s licence at the time. Five months after the crash, Dilara is still dependent on a respirator and will probably need constant care for the rest of her life.
