Husband dies suddenly in wife’s arms on luxury honeymoon after shock illness

A GERMAN man has died in his wife’s arms while on their honeymoon in Kenya. Eric and his wife Constanze had married before the pandemic, but were unable to go on the holiday due to the lockdowns. The man died in his wife’s arms on their Kenyan honeymoon But their dream honeymoon soon turned into a nightmare when Eric died from a deadly infection. Eric’s friend Robert Gropp has set up a gofundme page where he paid tribute to his 39-year-old colleague. He wrote: “Eric suddenly became very ill and was taken to a hospital. His condition deteriorated rapidly and steadily, and within days Eric lost the fight against the infection and passed away. “It is impossible to put into words the torments Constanze had to experience in Africa and the incredible suffering you and your two beloved children, the families and relatives have to endure,” he added. The donations have piled in and Robert said: “”Thank you very much for your numerous donations. Today I was able to transfer the first donations to Constanze – she is incredibly grateful and overwhelmed.” Following the tragic death, Eric is survived by his wife and two children – Yarik, 4 and Feline, 6.
