The gunman chased him before shooting him multiple times, according to reports. Sean’s devastated mum said her “heart is in pain” after her son’s death. “My son Sean Patterson has been shot dead in Jamaica, my hearts in pain,” she said. “My beautiful son Sean. I don’t understand.” His sister Sarah Wright said: “Well that’s one way to start the new year, finding out your baby brother has been murdered in Jamaica. “To say we are heartbroken is an understatement. “You’ll get justice ikkle (little) bro.” Police rushed to the scene of the shooting after witnesses reported hearing “loud explosions”. They found Sean with gunshot wounds to his head and upper body and he was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead. It is understood Sean arrived in Jamaica on December 29. Police have arrested a 34-year-old man in connection with his murder. The suspect, from Kingston, Jamaica, was allegedly deported from the UK in 2013. A spokesman for the Foreign Office told The Sun: “We are supporting the family of a British man who died in Jamaica and are in contact with the local authorities.” THIS IS A DEVELOPING STORY… The Sun is your go to destination for the best celebrity news, football news, real-life stories, jaw-dropping pictures and must-see video.
