It has withstood attacks by so-called barbarian hordes and remained standing throughout 1,900 years of history. But now, Hadrian's Wall is facing a new threat to its survival: Climate change. Rising temperatures are destabilising the delicate ecosystem that has helped preserve the site throughout the centuries and archaeologists say they face a race against time to recover valuable artefacts before it is too late.
