Girl, 6, fighting for life after being savaged by dog that jumped fenced and dragged her into front yard

A LITTLE girl is fighting for her life after being savaged by a dog that jumped over a fence to drag her into the front yard. The little girl reportedly suffered significant abdominal, chest and shoulder injuries after the Bull Arab breed pounced on her. She is understood to have been walking along a footpath when she was attacked by the animal. Paramedics attended the scene and took the child to Queensland Children’s Hospital, where she remains in a serious condition. Another person, aged in their 20s, was also taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital with a leg injury after the attack. Council dog handlers have arrived on scene and seized the animal.
