Germany May Bankroll Nuclear Power for Everyone But Itself as EU Updates 'Clean Technologies' List

Differing positions on whether nuclear energy could, under certain conditions, be considered "sustainable" subscribed to by the EU's two largest economies – Germany and France – created difficulties for the European Commission last year, as it tried to hammer out its ambitious "climate-friendly" plans for decarbonizing the bloc’s economy.
