France Removes Australia From List of Strategic Partners Over AUKUS Betrayal

The relationship between Australia and France slipped to a new low when Canberra walked away from a multi-billion-dollar submarine deal last September with the French Naval Group, and announced a new trilateral pact with the US and the United Kingdom, referred to as AUKUS.
