Four dead including teen and eight injured after family is mowed down by guest at Spanish wedding

FOUR people have died, including a teen, and eight others injured after a family was mowed down by a guest during a brawl at a wedding in Spain. The horror incident took place at a restaurant in the suburbs of Madrid, according to sources from the emergency services. During the tussle, a vehicle drove at full speed down the street, running over members of the same family on several occasions. As a result, four people, a 70-year-old woman and three men aged 40, 60 and 17 have died from fractures and multiple injuries. The Madrid 112 services received the first call at 2.44am this morning. These included two middle-aged men with leg and pelvic fractures, respectively, and two women with head injuries. Two others received “potentially serious injuries” according to the emergency services and two other minor injuries. The driver of the vehicle that allegedly caused the deaths, aged 35, has been arrested by the Civil Guard in Seseña. Two teenagers, aged 16 and 15, who were also in the car were arrested. Police believe there might have been a fourth person in the car who ran off. The incident is being investigated by agents of the Homicide Group and the Scientific Police Brigade of the National Police. A total of 22 health teams have attended the scene, including a psychologist who had to treat several anxiety crises among family members.
