Finland Removes Last Remaining Lenin Statue Over Ukraine Conflict

Vladimir Lenin, the founder of the Soviet State, has been venerated for being partly responsible for Finland's independence in 1917, which came less than a month after Russia's October Revolution. His statue has joined the list of monuments removed across Europe for their apparent "Russian connection".
