Female supply teacher, 28, arrested for grooming boy for sex as school sends warning letter to parents

A FEMALE supply teacher has appeared in court after being accused of grooming a schoolboy for sex. Ammy Singleton, 28, from Port Augusta, Australia is accused of inappropriately communicating with a child between November 1 and 30 last year. Port Augusta West Primary School principal David Lawton issued a letter to parents to inform them that Ms Singleton has worked in at the school for one day in July, 2020. Mr Lawton stressed that the alleged sex offence took place with a student from a different school. “Police have advised the Department for Education they do not have any objections to the department informing the school community,” he wrote.
