Teixeira oversaw an online group called Thug Shaker Central where approximately 30 people – mostly young men and teens – shared a love of guns, racist memes and games. Two US law enforcement officials have reportedly told NBC News that he is the suspected leaker of the classified documents. Officials reportedly said an arrest could be made as early as today. He is enlisted in the 102nd Intelligence Wing of the Massachusetts Air National Guard. Teixeira’s mum Dawn confirmed to the New York Times her son was a member of the Air National Guard and said he had recently been working overnight shifts at a base on Cape Cod.
