A FORMER fighter in Putin’s vicious private army the Wagner Group has been arrested after allegedly attacking a police officer following a brawl at a bar. Andrey Medvedev was reportedly involved in the scrap in the Norwegian capital Oslo, which he fled to last month after claiming to have escaped from Putin’s brutal band of mercenaries. Prosecution documents state that the alleged fight took place on the night of February 21. After resisting arrest, Medvedev is reported to have hit a police officer. The statement reads: “On Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at about 5:00 am, when several police officers and other law enforcement officers were taking him [Medvedev] out of a police car in the courtyard of the central detention centre, he resisted and kicked one or more officers.”
