DR Congo President Urges to Turn $6.2Bln Mining Deal With China Into 'Win-Win'

In September 2021, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) started a review of a mining deal with China, signed over a decade ago, in order to secure all the financing for infrastructure projects that was promised under the agreement, as well as a share of the profits, which have recently surged due to rising commodity prices.
