Cryptocurrency Ban Advisable as It's Worse Than Ponzi Schemes, Top Indian Bank Official Says

Indian Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in her budget speech on 1 February announced a flat 30 percent tax on income from cryptocurrency. She had also proposed that the Reserve Bank of India would introduce a digital currency in the next financial year beginning April 2022 to boost the digital economy and efficient currency management.
