Crime and Inflation Creating Difficult Headwinds for Democrats Ahead of Midterms, Observers Say

The latest ABC/Washington Post survey indicated that crime has surpassed abortion among concerns for Americans, who also said they trust Republicans more than Democrats to handle it. The GOP also leads the Dems by 16 points in trust to handle the economy and by 19 points in trust to handle inflation.
