Council Tax Bills May Grow By 5% For Millions of Struggling UK Households From April, Research Warns

As millions of UK households struggle amid the bitter cost of living crisis, with surging energy and food costs, Chancellor Jeremy Hunt had revealed in the Autumn Budget Statement last year that local authorities would be granted "additional flexibility" to increase council tax by up to 3%, as well as up to 2% to fund social care responsibilities.
