Company offers workers six-figure salary and options to ‘work from anywhere’ – are you eligible

ONE of the world’s most successful IT companies is offering candidates a six-figure salary and the option to “work from anywhere” as part of a huge recruitment drive – could you land the job? Aussie software company Atlassian is aiming to recruit more than 1,000 new research and development employees. AtlassianThe “Atlassivan” will tour Australia to pitch to new workers[/caption] GettyCo-founder and co-chief executive Mike Cannon-Brookes is hoping to attract new talent with an attractive job offer[/caption] Founded in 2002, Australia’s biggest tech business is looking to expand its Australian team and attract new staff by offering them the possibility to work from the office or home and even overseas if the company has a legal business entity there. “And our digital-first culture means we default to virtual meetings and place greater emphasis on async communications,” Atlassian’s career page states. Valued at $US100 billion, Atlassian is currently advertising roles in analytics and data science, engineering, marketing, customer experience and product management. Average salaries for these positions are anywhere between $95,000 and $140,000, according to recruitment site Seek, but Atlassian has not disclosed the salary packages on offer for the advertised roles. In a push to attract candidates, the company will also be touring Australia aboard its own Atlassian-branded RV, dubbed the “Atlassivan” to pitch to new workers. The “Team Anywhere” van, which promotes “Open road, open roles” will start its journey in Sydney’s central business district (CBD) before making its way to Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane as well as Wollongong, Newcastle, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast.
