Central African Countries Urge UNESCO to Increase Representation of African Heritage Globally

UNESCO has named places around the globe World Heritage Sites when they are considered to be of significant cultural, historical, scientific, or other value since 1972. Monuments, groups of structures, and places make up cultural heritage, while natural heritage is comprised of physical and biological formations.
