Case of US Couple Charged With Child Trafficking and Torture of 10-Year-Old Boy in Uganda Explained

On December 9, a US couple, Nicholas Spencer and Mackenzie Leigh Mathias Spencer, were taken into police custody in Kampala, Uganda, after they were charged with the torture of a foster child. One week later, Ugandan prosecutors moved forward the charge of child trafficking against the couple.
