British boy, 6, ‘drowns in pool’ near Love Island villa in Majorca after ‘parents lost sight of him for a few minutes’

A SIX-year-old British boy has reportedly died in a swimming pool near the Love Island villa in Majorca. The youngster drowned yesterday afternoon in the pool at the unnamed hotel in the resort of Sa Coma, Spain. The alarm was sounded around 5.30pm yesterday. Local reports said his parents lost sight of him for a few minutes before he was spotted floating face-down in the pool. Efforts to revive him at the scene proved unsuccessful.
