A BRITISH tourist was found dead on a sunbed after suddenly falling ill while on holiday on a Greek island. The 62-year-old Brit was enjoying the sun in Crete with his wife when he decided to go for a swim on the beach of Stalida. A 62-year-old Brit died on a sunbed in Crete At some point, he felt unwell so he returned to his sunbed next to his wife. But he died right as he lied down on the sunbed, e-Kriti reported. An ambulance was called and the man was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy is expected to reveal the cause of death. The body of a 54-year-old tourist was left undiscovered for hours on a sunbed. Beachgoers raised the alarm after realising the man hadn’t moved from his sunbed for hours. Emergency services raced to the scene and tried to resuscitate him.
