A BRITISH tourist has reportedly drowned at his hotel pool in the Majorcan resort of Palmanova. The 53-year-old is said to have died after fainting while swimming in the pool of the Globales Palmanova Hotel yesterday afternoon. A Brit has drowned in a hotel swimming pool Police and paramedics tried to revive him after reaching the scene and taking over from lifeguards but were unable to save him. He was pronounced dead before his body was taken away for a post-mortem. Civil Guard officers are now carrying out a routine investigation and will prepare a report for a local judge.
