Brit holidaymaker, 36, plunges six floors from Benidorm hotel balcony as cops arrest her husband for attempted murder

A BRIT holidaymaker has been arrested after his wife was left fighting for her life in a sixth-floor Benidorm hotel plunge. The 36-year-old female casualty, who is also British, is said to be in a critical condition at a hospital in Spain. A Brit tourist has plunged from a sixth floor at a hotel in Spain The tourists were staying at the four-star Rio Park, part of the Medplaya hotel chain. The alarm was raised just after midnight. Police have confirmed the woman’s 40-year-old husband has been held on suspicion of attempted homicide. It has been described as a “preventative measure” while they continue to probe the circumstances surrounding the hotel plunge.
