A BRITISH couple are fighting for their lives after they were involved in a moped crash while on a “holiday of a lifetime”. Joella Senior, 27, and Alex Hoyle, 29, are in a critical condition in a hospital in Bali after their Honda scooter collided with a car in Kerobokan, North Kuta, in the evening of June 12. His liver and lungs are also damaged. He underwent a six-hour operation on June 16 to stabilise bones attached to his ribs. Mr Hoyle needs further extensive surgery to repair serious fractures to his jaw, cheekbone and temporal bones, although it is now known when he will be fit enough to undergo the procedure.
