A BRITISH boy is fighting for his life after being mowed down by a horse and carriage in Italy. The youngster, four, was at Andalo Riding Centre in Trentino while on holiday with his parents when he was struck. A British boy, four, was hit by a horse and carriage in Italy He hit his head and suffered a number of injuries after being hit by the carriage and thrown to the ground on Friday. Emergency services dashed to the scene after the boy was flown to hospital by helicopter. He was then transferred to a specialised centre for neurosurgical operations.
