At least five people killed and 10 injured after gunman opened fire outside synagogue in Jerusalem ‘terror attack’

AT least five people have been shot dead in a suspected terror attack at a synagogue in Jerusalem. It is understood the gunman started firing at people as they were leaving the building in the Israel capital’s Yaakov neighbourhood. AFPSeveral people have been shot dead in Jerusalem[/caption] Police said the shooter was killed by security forces after attempting to flee the scene. Israel’s ambulance service said ten people were wounded in a shooting police described as a “terror attack.” A huge police presence was pictured at the scene. The shooting follows a deadly raid by the Israeli military Thursday in the occupied West Bank that killed nine Palestinians, with a tenth killed later north of Jerusalem.
