THE anti-vaxxer parents of an eight-year-old girl have been accused of her murder after refusing her life-saving medication. Parents Jason Struhs, 50, and 46-year-old Kerrie have both been charged with one count of murder, torture and failure to provide necessities of life. Police allege Elizabeth was taken off from her insulin medication in an attempt for her illness to be healed by God, the Courier Mail reports. The couple ran a home-based church in the town of Toowoomba and reportedly believe that God cures illness rather than medicine. They allegedly believed that their daughter was suffering from “worms” and God had “100 percent promised healing”.
